9 years.

On this date in 1997, I was baptized. That's right, I was almost 15 when I finally took the plunge (not literally; we're Lutherans!). If I could bake, I'd make myself a cake; but I am horrid at anything regarding the stove or oven. So, maybe instead I'll just go buy some chocolate. See ya.

That's interesting. It seems most Lutherans get baptized as infants. Lately at our church most older children and adults are baptized by immersion.
We have also had a number of people re-affirm their baptism by also being immersed. They are taught that this is not a "new" baptism nor a "re-baptism" because once you are baptized you are baptized. It is rather like any other reaffirming of faith whether it be by prayer or altar call or repentance or whatever. It is seen more as a symbol of change of heart or will not as a sacrament.

I bet you had a lot more hair than I did! Oh yeah, and control of your limbs :)

I was three weeks old.
